   古早很重要這種橘色蘆黍ㄙㄨㄟˋ是古早古早就有的…. 古早阮ㄕㄨㄚˋ飯或ㄕㄨㄚˋ糜，攏用這種啊！阮尪叫我莫種這項，要舂ㄗㄧㄥ足久！以前我舂2000幾ㄟ（2000多下），今馬，老啊，没力，要舂3000幾ㄟ，不過，有人引，我就種啊！ 現在要做什麼？現在要 #炊三色粿和 #ㄆㄧㄤˋ米香 用的。 好期待這兩樣古法製作的七美古早味！ #七美人口中的 #蘆黍（ㄙㄨㄟˋ），是指 #玉米 喔！

   《Jinglin banniang harvesting the orange corn》 This is the traditional orange corn with bright shining orange kernel colour. In those days, Qimei islanders would mill it into grits and cook it with rice to make Corn rice or Corn-rice porridge. It is considered to possess more nutritious. However, it is tedious to grow, to process them. Nowadays, much less islanders grow this type of the traditional orange corn now. Thanks to Jinglin banniang’s lifelong dedication to keep this tradition. For what kind of uses: Jinglin banniang would make traditional cake and pop-corn frying in sea sand.
